Well, my guys are 17 and almost 22, so the kiddie pool won't work ;-)...water balloons and the hose used to be fun things for them and their dad...now I'm hearing a call for a/c, but trying to hold off as long as possible. I want to get us to the beach soon, but my oldest is on the list for federal jury duty on wednesday...hard to make plans right now. (I've never, ever been called for federal jury duty!, and this is his first time for any kind of jury duty). Anyway, I can't find anything about the Wyndmoor Fair...is it fun? I'll know where to head towards when I start hearing booms tonight...thanks!
Cindy, oops, I had no idea. I had a thought they were young yet. I don't know though: kiddie pools hold allure for young and old...:) And water balloons? Do we ever outgrow water balloons? I guess they're not as much fun when, after throwing them, you also have to go around finding all the little rubber pieces. The Carnival here is right off of Willow Grove Ave between Cheltenham and Stenton: there are cones all over the road there and you can *hear* it, so I think you would have no problem finding it. It's all rides and food: I just went on the ferris wheel again (ahem, alone: Tim's at work) and ate a corn dog...
yes, you're right...they just go through phases where certain things would seem strange to do. I'll have to stock up on some water balloons though, that will be fun.
Tim is missing out on the fun! I don't know if I can get my guys interested, but maybe for the fireworks. We used to go sit up in front of Burger King for the 4th...you can watch what Abington sets off at the high school from there.
