My mobile-making has been branching out lately. Twigs fallen from my favorite willow form this one which hangs over my bed, weighted down with a holed sea stone from this beach. It's fascinating to watch in the morning (fuzzy, without my glasses on) when it moves softly like a moving minimalist drawing.

These are lovely. I've thought about making myself some soothing kinetic art pieces before, but I've never actually done it. I'm so glad you did! Why should babies get all of the mobiles? ;)
ooooo! this is so lovely! it has me imagining the beautiful shadows it must cast.
This is really so fun to watch ~ and the shadows are a part of it too, for sure. :)
i love this mobile. i would stare at it and not get up, even for coffee. for awhile, that is.
