willow & yellow

Hello! Just popping by quickly today to share mimi and her willow twig madness. (look at her pupils!) I'm feeling a bit mad myself with this new season upon us, and am going to funnel some of that feeling into some wild caffeinated poem-writing this afternoon.

Silly cat :) we used to hold green olives in front of our cats face, close enough so he could lick it, and watch him go crazy. You should try it... it's unreal! Enjoy your afternoon.

What a gorgeous creature! Love these photos too - one of my favourite things about cats is watching their pupils dilate when they're stalking something. :) The different points of focus in these pictures are great.

seems like nothing could break her away from her playing (although she's more stalking, than playing :) what brought on this sudden (or not so sudden) bout of madness?...lol.

Somer ~ wild popping did occur, fortunately. :)

Barbara ~ It's so funny to hear what makes other people's cats wild. I just heard that cheese does the trick too. Mimi's Achilles Heel is celery, if you can believe it!! It affects her just like catnip. And we have catnip growing too, which she likes.

Victoria ~ it's amazing what an incredibly well put together hunting machine she is, even if she only hunts her willow twig, her piece of rope, and her selection of shebert-colored sponge balls. Thank goodness she's not the size of a tiger.

Keia ~ thanks. :) I think so.

Jenna ~ She has cat-time a few times a day, out of the blue, if I care to instigate it by responding to her staring. If not, by nighttime she stalks her spongeballs. :)

She is so fun :~)

Did you get the email I sent yesterday?...it is being temperemental with its sending, so I'm never quite sure if they reach where they are supposed to!

Glad the poetry was flowing ~
