My life has been up, down, and all around lately. I've seen the good, the bad, and the ugly (about myself too: not very pretty), and have also been charmed by serendipity and luck, details and the just plain gladness of being alive. I have been falling under the spell of tiny wildflowers, pieces of velvet, bone buttons, feathers, seed pods, carved wooden birds and other things in the flotsam and jetsam of my studio, too, which is the best feeling of all.
How is life going for you these days?

Oh, all of the above rings so true. Everything is up, down and all around in my head as well as everywhere else. For someone who likes everything in its place it's especially maddening. Hope we both can level things out soon.
I think this might help me, you might find it good too. I was thinking friendship bracelets.

Have a good weekend :)
Fiona ~ I really struggle with wanting everything in its place while knowing that things aren't always organizable, and even if they are, they soon get back out of place. :) Thank you for the link! Have a great weekend too.
I'm constantly surprised with the speed at which life is going by. It scares me a bit.
I love your blog.
I love those warm tones.
Your expression seems a combination of sad and peaceful.
Thanks, Katie. :) I am suprised by that too!
Anne ~ Thanks :)
Hi Brooke - I think its going around.... the ups downs and all arounds.
I just went to your flickr page and looked at a lot of your work, great stuff! I love the little ladder series, I have a thing for ladders, but haven't done anything with them yet, maybe I'll be inspired now. Especially fell in love with the delicate feather cuts over the text, beautiful!
Valerianna ~ Thank you! So much fun stuff on flickr ~ I love that little ladder series too. :) They are a lot of fun to make and use in my work.
