Walking the dog just now and the rain began. Bouncing off car roofs in the bright sunlight and casting into being a large rainbow in front of which, as the dog and I became soaked, I watched 5 star-shaped helium balloons float up from some friday-night gathering. I watched them until they were so small I couldn't make out they were stars, and then they went even higher.

i took a walk in the rain yesterday as well. it was beautiful. :)
i love that photo. :) missing you!
I marvel at how your life is so full of special moments. Thank you for sharing them with us! Sometimes, especially when I've been working indoors all day, I almost think that you live in a kind of magical parallel universe where everything is wonderful, green and peaceful. Please let me know if you someday, by chance, run into an unicorn. ;-)
As much as I love a walk in the rain, I am very happy that, after a week of clouds and cold winds, the sun has come out again. So I hope for a quiet weekend to forget all the week's small sorrows.
britanny ~ my walk wasn't intentional but was enjoyable even so! It's fun to be out there feeling the raindrops.
somer ~ ditto
stefanie ~ you're welcome! thank you so much, I will definitely let you know if I see a unicorn. I have a story that reminds me of that ~ there is this field...but no, I'm going to make it a blog post. There is a dragon involved: check for the post in a day or two! :)
I hope you have a quiet healing weekend. hugs!
