sunshine and snail mail

self portrait series for vivienne mcmaster's 'wading in' course

I discovered how to work the self-timer on my camera this week.

Being outdoors with the sunshine and the red-winged blackbirds made me happy, so I thought I'd offer to send anyone who wants one a cheery postcard. My email is:  flypeterfly AT hotmail DOT com, and if you are interested in getting some happiness in your mailbox, send me your address by saturday night!

What's making you happy lately?

i would love some actual mail, like, REAL MAIL! ha!
happiness here is: hair up in a million braids, lilacs, a new bed, homemade bread w/ butter and honey, and oolong tea. :)

WOW!!! These pictures are INCREDIBLE! I seriously think the top image should be on the cover of Anthropologie's catalogue. Your new dress is so pretty and that yellow scarf is just like summer sunshine. l-o-v-e

Seems that you enjoyed your time while making these beautiful pictures!

Watching my bunnies living up now they can enjoy the outside world in our little garden makes me happy these days!

Wish you a nice sunday!

I just love these photos! And the color of that scarf. I think I would have to wear it all winter to remind me of the warm yellow sun.

You know I love snail mail. ;)

Happy Saturday!

Smelling the lilacs and bluebells in a jar as I walk into my studio every day.
Mr frog coming out of the pond for his supper every evening.
Looking at the sunspots on the sun through my Man's solar filter on the telescope...
