Taking photos is one thing that always makes me really, really happy. And a little nervous, a little curious. It's a good mix.
It's a way to speak without language, to tap into all that other stuff that is life without words.
There is so much in that place.

And your photos, in turn, make others happy! Singing is one of the major things that make me happy, but I'm not sure others reeeeeally love it all the time.
i agree. :) you can tell that you really love taking pictures.
it's funny because i used to write. that was all i did. poetry, musings, etc. and i still do, though sparingly. i've reached a place in life where i much prefer a photograph.

This photo is dreamy :). Makes me daydream of all the possibilites with those incredible inventions. I am hooked to my land camera. Having issues with nondeveloping brown spots though--grrrrr. Bought a spectra this week, can't wait for it to arrive. I believe I have you to blame for my new found addiction. THANK YOU!

Your post reminded me of this quote from Henri Cartier-Bresson on taking a photograph, "It is putting one's head, one's eye and one's heart on the same axis."
