Someone has said that one never leaves a place, or arrives at one, until the next day! But on the second morning I woke with the familiar feeling of interest and ease, and the bright May sun was streaming in...

My friend somer came to visit for a few days to help us settle in. We didn't do much unpacking but a lot of delicious meals happened, champagne was sprinkled on the porch steps, a lot of rooms were hung out in, showers got tested, the first wood fire occurred, the farmers market was found, and we took a nice walk by the lake (tim and I went again yesterday and saw loons).
Which, after all, is just as important as those boxes getting empty.

your move sounds incredible! I love the imagery through your descriptions of farmer's markets and plant nurseries. Sounds like the perfect nest :)
yes. yes it is. :)
I would say all of those things are completely important if not more so! Sounds like a wonderful way to break in the new old house.
