the first words that came to my head to describe these photographs were "dreamy" and "swirly." i love the dreamy quality of film, and your photographs have a swirly feel that make me feel like i'm being swallowed by a cool down blanket. beautiful beautiful.
I had to share this quote in relation to your last post. Photos so evocative of that place.
Perhaps the most important thing we bring to another person is the silence in us, not the sort of silence that is filled with unspoken criticism or hard withdrawal. The sort of silence that is a place of refuge, of rest, of acceptance of someone as they are. We are all hungry for this other silence. It is hard to find. In its presence we can remember something beyond the moment, a strength on which to build a life. Silence is a place of great power and healing. — Rachel Naomi Remen

These images are quite lovely. There is a calmness and yet a sense of anticipation when I see the first image. Nice.

Your photos are stunning. I really do adore film photography. I have an old Pentax I enjoy messing around with. Thank you for inspiring me!
