We move today. Boxes packed, rooms pretty cleared, dogs nervous. Cat unaware. Movers are arriving in an hour or two. There are a bunch of early birds at the feeder, including my favorite, the cardinal. Spent all last evening packing up odds and ends and listening to Around the Well. Of course it's pouring. We woke up almost before dawn ~ the birds were singing in the rain ~ and are just about to head to the diner since we packed all our plates and utensils.

It's pouring here too, and the house sparrows have not stopped twittering since dawn (such as it was, grey, cloudy, muted). Moving day, yay! hope you don't get too wet.

Seeing lovely birds in my yard as well, hummingbirds, a rare bunting, eastern bluebirds, scissortails, cardinals, and lots of hawks. :)
