We're still cloistered cosily in the bedroom, snuggling and nursing whenever he feels like it, and it feels like the most perfect thing in the world. I know it won't last forever. Soon there will be things to do, places to go. But for now I don't want to think about that.

Those first days are amazing - I loved being together after the boys were born, just the four of us. So precious.

p.s. Cedar just keeps getting cuter!

Snuggle hard and nurse on, you two (three)! I loved those early days so, so much -- I remember how startling it was when everyone went home or back to work and I had to start making food again. I LOVE making food! But I loved the couple of weeks when I hardly left the bedroom more.

I didn't plan or know it then, but at 32 months we're still nursing, and what a sweet way it has been to hold on to some of that closeness of those first weeks.
