chanterelles. good reads. healthy babe.

Cedar

sx-70 camera, polaroid 600 expired film

Saturday at the farmer's market, laden down with sugar plums, peaches, corn, I held and smelt an Italian black truffle and bought wild-foraged chanterelles.

I'm currently reading The road through miyama, Notes from walnut tree farm, and The voyage of the dawn treader.

Cedar had his one month wellness check today. He weighs 12lb 10oz. He has gained 4lb 9oz since he was born. We went for sandwiches in a nearby town and someone thought he was 4 months old! He's a super solid snuggle these days.

What a big boy. He's so sweet. Mark and I listened to the whole Narnia series on our journey out east. My favorite was the one read by Patrick Stewart. But I have a serious crush on him :)

Lewis is getting big too and he outgrew the newborn prefolds so fast.

i'm sure it's not all fresh fruit and baby snuggles over there, but your days sound absolutely blissful to me. so happy it's smooth sailing (for the most part at least) for you. wishing you all more of the same.

I love the whole Narnia series, especially the first three - I've read them countless times.

Way to grow, Cedar!

That series never grows old. Which reminds me .. I was hoping the rest of the series would be made into movies but the last one I remember was the Dawn Treader. Maybe they still will ..

Jen :: He is SO cuddly these days ~ a solid heavy boy in arms! I may buy an italian truffle today if we get over to the market, and have fun with my visiting friend figuring out a few diner recipes to use it with. :) They smell so yummy.

Anita :: It was, thank you! Hope yours was as well. :)

Lola :: I didn't even think of getting them on audiobook! I think I may try to find them at my library for a trip we have planned for in late summer. They would be perfect to listen to with Tim! I see in pics of Lewis that he IS getting so big, and Cedar too is way past his newborn clothes. Wow, that happened fast!

Julia :: Thank you. :)

Ashley :: Yes!! It's the best.

Cortnie :: My favorite is the Horse and His Boy. I've read that one so many ~ they are all dogeared in fact, and are the original books from my childhood, with stamps (and some bite marks?!) on them. Their heft and smell is so old and familiar. :)

Elizabeth :: I'm wondering the same thing...nothing like a good wholesome adventure movie...
