Yesterday Tim and I had plans; each to our own. Instead we got sidetracked into clearing out more yard and moving the fences to incorporate a sandbox for Cedar (sand still needed) and a bigger spot for the firepit. It was a great day to be outside moving branches, weeding, tossing and dragging and clearing.

We lunched outside on the picnic table, the wind blowing through and cooling things down. I really believe the energy of a place moves along and freshens when stagnant areas are cleared out, and it was lovely to be a part of that. All the birds knew too, and collected in a crowd to inspect everywhere we worked, flying away in different directions each time I opened the kitchen door.
